Client Background

Swedish industrial company manufactures industrial tools and equipment. This Industrial group has global footprint with many manufacturing units in different countries. Company faced key challenges:

  • Unmanaged data residing in different client specific applications.
  • No team collaborations as each region or department had their own specific team applications with no synergy.
  • Low employee engagement with company leadership and company processes updates.
  • No common knowledge management system.
  • Legacy application used with no support from vendor.

Solution

IntelliCredence collaborated with client on a roadmap assessment, then designed intranet portal based on SharePoint Online.

Applying its deep skills in user experience design, content management and information architecture design, IntelliCredence developed the new portal with user-friendly taxonomy and hybrid search and navigation elements to help various departments more quickly find needed information. The solution also leveraged SharePoint Content Publishing features—including SPFx, powerapp, workflow and versioning—to streamline content.

Created 4000 SharePoint sites catering different departments and different geographical locations—including a Mexican language option
